Virtual Family Feud Please be sure to call the BOLD Activity Call-In Number: 877-878-3030 before 9:00 PM on the call-in deadline date. Press the number of the event that you want to sign up for; leave your name and phone number, state if you will bring a guide or guest along with their name or if you will need a guide. Also let us know if you will be bringing a guide dog to an event. ADA requires that all service animals must always be under the control of the handler. If you would like to be a guide for an event, please call in to the Activity Call-In number listed in the activity. This will help us to be sure that there is a guide for each VIP. Please do not call the Activity Leader to sign up for an event. Only call the Activity Leader with questions about the event. Their name and number are included at the end of each article. Please allow our transportation director until Thursday evening at 9pm to contact you about transportation to the event. If you must cancel, it should be done no later than 48 hours prior to the event. UPCOMING EVENTS Whitewater Lions Fishing and Water Sports – Sat., Jul. 26th PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE To all VIPs, Lions, Leos and Guides. It has been enjoyable to meet many of our new VIP’s and see them blend in with our veteran VIP’s. The new relationships provide benefit for all, giving a new feel at our events. This is good and we look forward to this continuing. The new feel is also one of fullness as we have signups exceeding capacity at some of our events. We will do our best to allow all VIP’s an opportunity to attend events. For some events we will offer them more than once and for others we will find ways to increase capacity if possible. We also ask you to attend the event after signing up and avoid last-minute canceling, as it could cause someone to miss an opportunity to attend, not to mention create a bit of havoc for us in the arrangement of transporting to the event. We have enhanced our activity listing format with more complete activity information such as: physical requirements, min/max capacity and event specific information. This will help you determine if signing up for an event is right for you. Some events have some physical or event specific requirements so please read the articles carefully before signing up. April will be our annual election meeting of the Board of Directors. This year, there are 4 directors whose terms will be expiring. If you would like to be a part of this governing body now is your chance. Each of the directors term last for a period of 3 years. As a director you could be elected to serve as an officer. The officer term last one year. I highly encourage Lions to consider becoming a board member. Contact BOLD Vice President Jim Freuck before the April meeting if you would like to be added to the ballot. Feel free to contact any Board member with comments or suggestions or use the “2-2” line in our call-in system. Contact info is located at the end of this activity listing.
